Buses are lifeline for so many communities across Scotland. But in many places fares are far too expensive, vital routes have been cut and people just don’t have access to the services they need.
Ahead of the Scottish Parliament election on Thursday 7 May, come and quiz candidates from Scotland’s main political parties about what they plan to do to deliver better buses.
On the panel we have:
- Zen Ghani, SNP candidate for Glasgow Cathcart & Pollok
- Jamie Greene, Scottish Liberal Democrats candidate for Inverclyde (Transport spokesperson)
- Mark Ruskell, Scottish Green Party candidate for Mid Scotland & Fife Region (Transport spokesperson)
- Graham Simpson, Reform UK candidate for Airdrie (Transport spokesperson)
- Paul Sweeney, Scottish Labour & Co-operative Party candidate for Glasgow Easterhouse & Springburn
- TBC, Scottish Conservatives & Unionist Party
The event will be chaired by Shona Craven, writer and commentator, Community Editor and columnist at The National.
